When the cost of getting it wrong is the whole point
The garments we are asked for here are not difficult because they are dirty. They are difficult because they are expensive and because the wrong process is irreversible. Silk loses its fall. Wool felts. A structured blazer that is pressed flat never gets its shape back. Leather that is cleaned like fabric dries out and cracks.
So these do not go through one generic process. Dry cleaning is the right answer for suits, blazers, wool trousers, silk and most embellished wear. Leather and suede — jackets, bags, shoes — are a separate craft handled separately. Bags with hardware and lining are their own job again. If we are not sure a piece will respond, we will say so before we take it rather than after.
Collection from a tower, without the guard desk
High-rise living adds a step: a gate desk, a visitor entry, sometimes a call up before we are allowed in. That is fine, and we work with whatever your building requires. What we do not do is hand your order over at the security desk and call it collected. The count is done with you at your flat door, your order is packed separately from every other customer's, and you get a written receipt at pickup. For a one-off designer piece rather than a weekly bundle, that receipt is the whole point.
Alongside the wardrobe there is the soft-furnishing work these flats generate — lined drapes, sofa covers, rugs — which we collect on an agreed day rather than a two-hour slot.
