A corridor where almost everything is new

Golf Course Extension Road runs from the Sector 55–56 end down towards Sohna Road and the Southern Peripheral Road, with Sectors 65, 66, 67, 68 and 69 stacked along either side of it. Nearly all of it is high-rise, and nearly all of it is recent — towers handed over in the last few years, flats being furnished for the first time, neighbours still unpacking cartons. Of our two shops, the Arcadia store at AG-75, Ground Floor, Block-A, Unitech Arcadia, Sector 49 is the nearer one to this stretch, so it is the side of the city our pickup runs know best.

What a newly possessed flat actually needs washed

The laundry profile here is different from older Gurugram. In a new tower the first six months are not about one silk saree — they are about volume. Bedsheets and towels for a home that just doubled its linen, gym wear from people who joined the society gym in week one, and office shirts for two working adults who leave before nine. Then there is the furniture. Sofas bought at possession pick up settled construction dust from the towers still going up next door, mattresses get their first spills, and curtains hung on day one collect more grit in a year here than they would anywhere else in the city. Sofa cleaning, mattress cleaning and curtain care are the services this corridor asks us for most, usually alongside a regular weekly wash-and-fold. Naya ghar, kaam hazaar — a new home means a hundred jobs, and laundry is the one you can hand over.

Pickup that works with a gate desk and a working week

High-rise pickup is its own skill. Our rider reaches the main gate, gets logged at the security desk, and comes up to your floor rather than leaving a bag at the lobby counter with a guard who did not sign up for it. Your order is counted with you at the door, you get a written receipt at pickup, and your clothes are packed separately from every other customer's — which matters far more in a 500-flat tower than in a plotted house, because everyone's bedsheets look alike. Timing is the other half of it. Most homes on this stretch are empty between nine and seven on weekdays, so tell us on WhatsApp whether you want an early-morning slot before the office run, an evening slot after eight, or a Saturday pickup, and we plan around it. If it is easier, leave a house-help or family member named on the booking and we will hand over to them.
