The households here are mostly settled ones, and settled households produce steady laundry rather than dramatic laundry. School uniforms that have to be back and pressed for Monday. Office cottons. It is the least glamorous category we handle and the one where consistency matters most, because you notice immediately if a shirt comes back with a limp collar or a sheet comes back short.
So we count everything with you at the door, both directions, and pack your order separately from every other customer's. That sounds like a small thing until the week a single school shirt goes missing.
Then the four times a year that are different
Around the weekly rhythm sit the exceptions. Festive and wedding wear — sarees, lehengas, sherwanis, anything with zari or beadwork — which goes through dry cleaning and hand attention rather than a wash cycle, because the threadwork is the first thing a normal process damages. Winter quilts, blankets and woollens, which come out in November and want cleaning again in March before they are stored. And the occasional disaster: turmeric, oil, a child and a pen.
On stains, we would rather be honest than optimistic. Tell us what caused it and what you have already tried at home, because a mark that has been scrubbed with the wrong thing behaves differently, and knowing that changes what we attempt first.

Yes. Zari, beadwork and sequinned pieces go through specialist dry cleaning with hand attention, and we will point out anything already loose at pickup so you know about it beforehand rather than afterwards.
Twice a year works best — once before they come out in winter, and again at the end of the season before they go into storage. Storing a quilt dirty is what turns a small stain into a permanent one.
