The lanes are the job
A van does not always get to your gate here, and pretending otherwise wastes everybody's morning. In the tighter parts of Sector 4 we park at the mouth of the lane and the driver walks in with the bag and the counting sheet. That is fine — what matters is that the count happens at your door, in front of you, with a written receipt, not somewhere out of sight.
It also means the time we give you is a day rather than a narrow slot. Old Gurgaon traffic near the old city does not run to a schedule and we would rather be honest than arrive an hour late against a promise we should not have made.
What comes out of these houses
Ordinary, heavy, daily laundry. A family living together across two floors generates far more than a couple in a flat: everyday cottons, work clothes, school uniforms, towels, bedsheets and a constant pile that needs pressing more than anything else. Steam ironing is the service most Sector 4 households use first, and often the only one they need week to week.
The second thing is bedding. Old houses store thick cotton razais, blankets and heavy woollen shawls through the summer and haul them out in November, and none of that fits a home machine. We collect it and return it properly dried, which is the part that actually matters — thick cotton filling that is returned even slightly damp will smell within a week.
Where a garment cannot take a normal wash but does not need solvent, wet cleaning is the middle road, and we will tell you at pickup if that is what yours needs.

No. We park where the lane allows and the driver walks the rest of the way to your door with the bag and the count sheet. Nothing is counted in the street or at the van — it is done in front of you at the house.

Yes, and this is one of the main things we carry out of Sector 4 every winter. They are cleaned and, more importantly, dried all the way through before they come back. If yours needs an extra day for that, we will tell you rather than return it damp.
It is a controlled water-based process for garments that a normal wash would damage but that do not need solvent dry cleaning. Some structured or delicate pieces do better this way. We look at the garment at pickup and tell you which route it should take.
Our counter is in Sushant Lok Phase I, Sector 43, on the other side of town from Old Gurgaon. That is why most people here use the free doorstep pickup rather than travelling across — the van comes to you at no cost.
